Ploom

Ploom
This project was developed in my spare time for development purposes
and self-learning.
The main goal was to work with the new geometry nodes system in Blender 3D.
The thing that lay on the table and caught my eye was taken as the basis.
Ploom - tobacco heating system.
Structure
Stage 1. Tie.

The Ploom line has 3 flavors, which I tried to present in this video.
Berry, metol and chewing gum.
Each block reveals its own taste.

To show the disclosure of taste, you first need to show its absence, so the video begins with a deserted, foggy island, devoid of life.
A plume wakes up on the island, is painted in 3 colors according to the brand book and flies to different parts of the island, leaving behind a trail of its own taste. And the island starts to wake up...

Based on development, I created an island using note geometry nodes.
Main tool: grid to volume - volume to grid.
Stage 2. Development of tastes.

1 taste: I thought that the berries grow in the forest, which means you need to make a forest, and because we use geometric nodes, let's make this forest grow.
2 taste: I have no idea what menthol is and how it is made, but I know that it is mint, and I associate toothpaste and the mint plant with mint, and we use them.
Here I played with the growth of abstract ivy and vegetation using geometric nodes.
Taste 3: Chewing gum is always bubbles, which means we will inflate them with the help of mathematics, in this part a lot of vector mathematics nodes were used to distort the surface and to indicate the motion vector of small balls.
Stage 3. Interchange.

Each story needs to be completed, and this video ends with the disclosure of each taste in the whole location.
Production
In this block you can briefly get acquainted with the work process.
